January 8, 2021 – With the assistance of Mayor Robert Kennedy, the Hispanic Brotherhood, and the United Way, Freeport Housing Authority tenants received 20 Austin Air Healthmate Plus Air Systems. A part of the United Way’s “Safe At Home For Seniors” program, they are providing home air purifying units during the COVID-19 pandemic. Senior citizens are the highest at-risk group for COVID-19 and COVID-related illness. The Freeport Housing Authority is very appreciative to Mayor Kennedy for facilitating this partnership. <\/p>\n
