Welcome to the new Freeport Housing Authority website! As the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, and a lifelong Freeport resident, I am thrilled that the Freeport Housing Authority now has a way to let tenants, residents and the public know of new developments and available opportunities. The Freeport Housing Authority and Board of Commissioners assist over 1,500 residents in need, with safe, comfortable, and affordable housing options. Programs like these are the reasons I have stayed in Freeport, raised my family in Freeport, and give back to Freeport.
The Board of Commissioners and I are happy to move forward and grow with the Freeport Housing Authority and enhance this wonderful village. With new projects and improvements on the horizon, this is a very exciting time for residents, the Freeport Housing Authority and the Village of Freeport itself. Please make sure to visit this website regularly, as news, special announcements, meeting dates and updates will be posted in this space.
