VOUCHER PAUSE

Due to current federal budget limitations and as required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, effective February 27, 2024, Freeport Housing Authority is unable to issue new Tenant-Based Housing Choice Vouchers (“voucher pause”), which is expected to remain in effect, at a minimum, for the remainder of calendar year 2024.
